Banana Bread 1.5-lb Loaf

  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla
  • 13 cup unsalted butter, softened
  • 34 cup plain yogurt
  • 2 bananas
  • 1 13 cup bread flour
  • 13 cup brown sugar
  • 13 cup white sugar
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder
  • 12 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 2 teaspoon cinnamon

In a small bowl mash together the butter and bananas. In a separate medium bowl, combine the dry ingredients; bread flour, brown sugar, white sugar, baking powder, baking soda, salt, cinnamon. Once combined, add the eggs, vanilla, plain yogurt, butter and banana mixture to the dry mixture. Fold all ingredients together until all ingredients are wet. Add the mixture to the Kuissential 2-lb Programmable Bread Machine. Choose the cake cycle (10), 1.5 lb. Loaf, light crust and press start. When the kneading phase is over, with a rubber spatula scrape down the sides of the bread pan to ensure nothing is stuck to the sides. When the timer goes off, allow to cool and remove from the bread pan. If you notice that your bread isn’t completely cooked turn the bread machine on to Bake cycle 12 for 30 minutes.

**Note: You can make your own brown sugar by using 1 cup of granulated sugar to 1 tablespoon molasses for light brown and 2 tablespoons molasses for dark brown.
