Chocolate Cake 1.5-lb Loaf
- 1 1⁄4 cups milk
- 1⁄3 cup unsalted butter, melted
- 2 eggs
- 1 teaspoon vanilla
- 2 cups flour
- 1 1⁄2 teaspoons baking powder
- 1 teaspoon baking soda
- 1⁄3 cup cocoa powder
- 1⁄2 teaspoon salt
- 1 1⁄2 c sugar
**Optional: 1⁄2 cup chocolate chips or chopped chocolate
In a small bowl whisk together milk, butter, eggs and vanilla. Sift together dry ingredients. Add milk/egg mix to bread pan of the Kuissential 2-lb Programmable Bread Machine, and add dry ingredients on top. Select cake cycle (9), 1.5 lb. Loaf, and light bake. when the machine beeps add chocolate if you would like. When done baking allow to cool in pan for 5-10 minutes. remove and allow to cool fully before slicing.
Kuissential Tip: Spray the breadmaker paddle with cooking spray to prevent dough from sticking!
