Rye Bread 2-lb Loaf

  • 1 13 cups warm water (80 degrees)
  • 2 23 tablespoons butter, melted
  • 23 cup brown sugar
  • 1 12 teaspoons salt
  • 1 13 cup rye flour
  • 2 34 cups bread flour
  • 2 23 teaspoons caraway seeds
  • 2 12 teaspoons dry yeast

In bread pan of the Kuissential 2-lb Programmable Bread Machine, combine water, butter, sugar and salt. On top add flours and caraway seeds, make a small well and into it add the yeast. Select Multi-grain cycle (6), 2 lb. Loaf, crust color of choice and press start. When cycle is complete, carefully remove from pan allowing to cool fully before slicing with a bread knife.

Kuissential Tip: Spray the breadmaker paddle with cooking spray to prevent dough from sticking!
